after a whole day of aimless shooting the wish for human feelings is very understandable. she's loosening the solder but there is no satisfaction. but what about the first picture? it looks nice there in the sun. makes me wanna join the army too! or are they dead? that's what i saw in the first place.
oh yea they're girls with guns but who cares about that.
the pictures are from a series about girls in the army by Rachel Pa.., i don't especially like the photos - except these two.

this is my album cover. i call my band Girls. i dont care that this name is already occupied. i really love this album cover. i never designed something that looks better than this. even that empty spot on the right corner has its purpose. whatever it might be. maybe some extra space for growing? this cover looks like it's gonna grow up. these girls look like they're gonna grow up. some day. but for now there is this moment of rawness and silliness which attracts me so much.

i have no appointments and nothing to do and the shops are open 24h. there is no reason to go to bed early cause there are no plans for the next day anyway. i just start walking..

i will bring out my own perfume pretty soon. it's called I ADORE ME. the package will be sparkling. right now we're thinking about the details, whether printing a fish on the cover or not. we're not trying to describe the smell of the product with a fish more probably we don't know what we're trying to. i just know we love our sel-fish perfume alot.

if someone says "tokyo" and points on a picture that shows an empty street and sheeps it's funny and it's ironic. but the way these guys say "tokyo" - it's a different kind of funny. the guys just don't sound ironic at all. there is no break between tokyo and sheeps cause the way they say "tokyo" it can mean everything. that video is so cool. i wonder what my imagination of "tokyo" looks like. probably not that different from Tokyo.

i've made four trailers which i'm going to put online one by one during the month. and on january 29th i'll release a photo-series. a lot of tam-tam for a few photos in the end. ( is "tam-tam" english? i don't know )
it almost goes without saying this is my favorite album for the new year. sometimes the robot-voices and gaps might sound like a robot with slow reactions. but he mixes classic things and computer sounds in a way that it sounds warm - and like the future. the more i'm listening to James Blake the more i think there should be a new category for him. something with warm & robots. and in case everyone's gonna die in the new year - except me - it's not odd to imagen to fall for a robot-girl anymore.
